Mega Man Anniversary Coll...
Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the Nintendo GameCube...
Set in the year 200X, MegaMan.EXE and his operator, Lan Hikari, face a mysterious cyber threat shortly after defeating the WWW organization. A destructive program called the Zero Virus begins infecting NetNavis across the global network, causing widespread chaos. To stop the pandemic, Lan jacks MegaMan.EXE into various infected networks, from power grids to museum databases. Unlike traditional 3D GameCube action titles, Network Transmission retains a classic side-scrolling perspective with vibrant 3D cel-shaded graphics. Combat uniquely incorporates the Battle Network series' Battle Chip mechanic: as a custom bar fills during gameplay, Lan transfers chips to MegaMan, granting limited-use special weapons, defensive shields, healing items, and summonable Navi attacks. Players must carefully build and customize their chip folders to exploit boss elemental weaknesses, unlock secrets, and survive challenging digital stages.
