In Star Wars Rebel Strike: Rogue Squadron III, players join Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles in their fight against the Galactic Empire during the galactic civil war. While maintaining the series' gold standard of space combat simulation, Rebel Strike introduces brand-new gameplay dimensions: third-person ground missions featuring blasters, lightsaber action, and thermal detonators, alongside surface vehicle mechanics driving AT-ST walkers, speeder bikes, and Tauntauns. The single-player campaign spans classic trilogy events, including the daring rescue at Mos Eisley, the speeder bike pursuit through Endor's forests, and the ground assault on Geonosis. Beyond its single-player story, Rebel Strike features immense multi-player value, including 2-player split-screen competitive modes and a fully integrated, remastered 2-player cooperative campaign containing almost the entire single-player story of Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II.
