Def Jam: Vendetta
Def Jam: Vendetta is a ground-breaking hip-hop profession...
Def Jam: Fight for NY expands every system introduced in its predecessor, delivering an intense, arcade-style street fighting experience powered by AKI Corporation's legendary combat mechanics. The game introduces five distinct fighting styles—Streetfighting, Kickboxing, Martial Arts, Wrestling, and Submissions—which can be blended together to create custom, multi-style combatants.
The narrative-driven Story Mode places players as a rising fighter in D-Mob's crew, battling against rival syndicate leader Crow (voiced by Snoop Dogg). Matches take place in 24 realistic, hazard-filled underground arenas such as barrooms, subway stations, and scrapyards. Players can slam opponents into brick walls, throw them onto subway tracks, smash them with interactive weapons like pipes and bottles, or direct crowd members to hold down rivals. Filling the momentum meter unlocks cinematic "Haymaker" strikes and devastating "Blazin' Moves," creating high-octane spectacle and strategic combat depth.
