Pokemon Colosseum
Pokémon Colosseum is an action-packed 3D role-playing gam...
Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness refines and expands the 3D role-playing mechanics introduced in its predecessor. The gameplay is centered on 2v2 double battles, exploring cities and facilities across the Orre region, and capturing Shadow Pokémon directly from enemy trainers.
Unlike Colosseum, XD: Gale of Darkness introduces wild Pokémon encounters through specialized "Pōke Spots," allowing players to catch, bait, and trade wild Pokémon. The purification system is substantially overhauled with the introduction of the Purify Chamber—a device that uses the flow of energy between regular Pokémon to purify up to nine Shadow Pokémon simultaneously. With improved graphics, expanded battle animations, and a roster of 83 Shadow Pokémon to rescue, Gale of Darkness delivers a complete console Pokémon RPG experience.
