Crash Bandicoot: The Wrat...
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex for the Nintendo Gam...
The story begins when Andre, a malicious Dark Lum, turns innocent red Lums into an army of sack-wearing "Hoodlums." During the initial chaos, Rayman's bumbling companion Globox accidentally swallows Andre whole. To get Andre out of Globox's stomach and stop the expanding Hoodlum invasion, Rayman must journey across dangerous, magical regions of the Crossroads of Dreams to consult three specialized doctor gods. Gameplay retains the smooth 3D platforming and gliding mechanics of Rayman 2 while placing a heavier emphasis on combat and puzzle-solving through five unique Deterg-X Laser-Clothing power-ups. These temporarily grant Rayman unique abilities—such as heavy metal fists, grapple claws, lock-jaw chains, and miniature flying helicopters. Featuring dynamic point-scoring systems, extensive unlockable mini-games, and humorous voice acting, Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc stands out as one of the most eccentric 3D platformers on the GameCube.

Earning high scores in each level fills an overall scoring bar that unlocks bonus content on the main menu, including humorous animated shorts (like Wanna Kick Rayman), arcade mini-games, and concept art galleries.
Connecting a Game Boy Advance unlocks exclusive GameCube-only bonus content, including a 4-player competitive multiplayer mode called Mad Trax and a 2-player cooperative wheel-barrow driving mini-game called Wheelis.
