Jujus are ancient, powerful magical spirits that inhabit the world. Each Juju possesses a distinct personality and grants Tak unique powers or key quest items when he brings them their required ingredients or solves their riddles.
Animals play a vital role in solving environmental puzzles. For example, Tak can throw stink plants near rhinos to make them charge through wooden barricades, feed fruit to hippos to use them as bouncy trampolines, or ride emus to cross long gaps quickly.
Yes! At specific points in the story, Tak gains access to spirit magic that allows him to transform into animals like a chicken or a fleece-covered sheep to bypass small openings, slip past enemies, or access hidden areas.
Tak and the Power of Juju originated as a video game property created by Avalanche Software and THQ in partnership with Nickelodeon. Following the success of the game series on GameCube and other consoles, Nickelodeon later adapted the franchise into a CGI animated television series in 2007.
