Game Overview

The Ant Bully translates the perspective-shifting premise of the film into an action-adventure platforming experience. Developed by A2M, the GameCube version emphasizes environmental traversal, weapon-based combat, and squad-based ant interaction across giant, human-sized backyard environments.

The story follows ten-year-old Lucas Nickle, who takes out his frustrations on a lawn ant hill until the ant wizard Zoc brews a potion to shrink Lucas down to the size of an ant. Condemned to hard labor within the colony, Lucas must learn to respect the colony, master insect survival skills, and defend his new allies against lawn-dwelling predators—such as wasps, spiders, earwigs, and exterminators. Gameplay combines third-person platforming, staff and silk-shooter combat, climbing mechanics, and commanding ant telepathy abilities to solve environmental puzzles, move large obstacles, and complete colony trials.
