Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II for the Nintendo Game...
Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution continues the narrative journey of Pioneer 2 as scientists discover C.A.R.D. technology, a system that compresses weapons, items, and biological creatures into physical cards for deployment in battle. However, political rift divides the survivors: the government's official Hunters rely on C.A.R.D. power to explore the newly uncovered subterranean research facility known as the Germ, while a underground faction called the Arkz opposes C.A.R.D. usage, believing it threatens planet Ragol's fragile ecosystem. Players choose between two separate campaigns: playing as a Hunter who summons physical weapons and shields, or playing as an Arkz who commands native Ragol monsters in combat. Battles take place on 3D grid-based battlefields where players manage Action Points (AP) each turn to draw cards, move characters, equip gear, and execute attacks. With over 600 collectible cards, extensive deck strategy, and local 4-player multiplayer, Episode III offers a rich turn-based tactical experience on Nintendo hardware.

Unlike the real-time hack-and-slash gameplay of Episode I & II, Episode III is a turn-based tactical card battle game played on a grid-based board using Action Points (AP) and customizable card decks.
Hunters focus on equipping weapon, armor, and item cards directly onto their player character, whereas Arkz cannot equip weapons but instead summon native Ragol monster cards to move and fight on the board for them.
Yes! The full single-player campaigns for both Hunters and Arkz, as well as local 1-to-4 player offline versus modes, are completely playable offline without an internet connection.
While you cannot transfer your character level or equipment from Episode I & II due to the different gameplay genre, having an existing PSO Episode I & II save file on your Memory Card unlocks special bonus cards and extra music options in Episode III.
