Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut for the Nintendo GameC...
In Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, world peace hangs in the balance as the mysterious Shadow the Hedgehog emerges from a military laboratory, framing Sonic for high-profile crimes. Players choose between two opposing story paths: the Hero Story featuring Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, or the Dark Story featuring Shadow, Dr. Eggman, and Rouge. Both sides race across the globe to secure seven Chaos Emeralds and gain control of the Orbital Space Colony ARK's catastrophic Eclipse Cannon. Gameplay is structured across three distinct playstyles: high-velocity 3D platforming with Sonic and Shadow; target-locking mech combat with Tails and Dr. Eggman; and open-ended radar-based treasure hunting with Knuckles and Rouge. The Battle edition significantly expands the multiplayer experience, adding brand-new characters, extra arenas, and exclusive costumes for 2-player split-screen combat. Additionally, the expanded Chao Garden system enables players to raise, train, and race virtual Chao pets, with full transfer capabilities to the Game Boy Advance.
