MLB SlugFest 2003
Tear up the rulebook and unleash extreme arcade mayhem on...
Mark Davis Pro Bass Challenge was developed by SIMS Co., Ltd. and published by Natsume. Endorsed by 1995 Bassmaster Classic Champion and B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year Mark Davis, the game delivers an authentic recreation of professional competitive bass fishing.
Players embark on a career mode starting as an amateur angler working their way up through local tournaments, regional qualifiers, and eventually competing in the prestigious Pro Tour against Mark Davis himself. Gameplay focuses on real-world fishing mechanics: selecting the right lure (such as crankbaits, spinnerbaits, plastic worms, or topwater plugs) based on weather, water depth, and time of day; casting accurately toward underwater structures; and mastering tension control to hook and reel in fighting bass without snapping the line.
On the Nintendo GameCube, Mark Davis Pro Bass Challenge features realistic underwater camera views, dynamic weather and seasonal changes, responsive controller vibration feedback simulating line tension and fish bites, and detailed fish behavior algorithms.
